Logistics & Warehouse — Device & Asset Tracking System
An internal tool built to track company hardware and mobile device assignments across branches. The platform provides a centralized portal for managing device ownership, paired SIM cards, and inter-branch transfers. The system was delivered and packaged, with further rollout limited by internal constraints.

Problem
Hardware assets and mobile devices were previously assigned manually without any tracking software in place. This made it difficult to track device ownership, paired SIM cards, and transfers of devices between branches, leaving gaps in visibility over company hardware.

Our Solution
DevExcel built a centralized asset management portal to serve as a digital hub for tracking company hardware and mobile devices. Real-time assignment and location tracking gives the team live visibility into hardware assignments, SIM pairings, and multi-office transfers as they happen.
Developed Features

- Centralized hardware and device asset portal
- Real-time device assignment tracking
- SIM card pairing records
- Cross-branch device transfer tracking
- Device ownership history logging
What This Engagement Produced
Hardware ownership, paired SIM cards and inter-branch transfers are tracked in one portal rather than per-branch logs.
Delivered scope
Delivered and packaged for rollout; further deployment was limited by the client's internal constraints, not by the build.
Delivered scope
Device assignments are recorded against people and branches, so an unreturned device is visible rather than inferred.
Delivered scope
“Delivered scope” describes what was built and shipped, taken from our own build record. It is not a measured client result, and we do not publish it as one. Where a client has documented and confirmed a figure, it appears above as a verified result with the number attached.
