Problem

Before the rebuild, company onboarding, job order creation, and guard assignments were handled 100% manually through phone calls. This created severe administrative strain from the total lack of digital automation, and the existing legacy portal was basic and error-prone.

Workforce Management — Security Staffing Operations, solution

Our Solution

DevExcel architected a custom admin portal automating 80% to 90% of the tactical and operational workflows previously handled by phone. The portal was integrated directly with QuickBooks so billing, invoicing and job data move between the two systems without re-keying, and DevExcel has continued providing active technical support post-launch.

Developed Features

Workforce Management — Security Staffing Operations, developed features
  • Custom admin portal automating onboarding and job order workflows
  • Automated guard assignment management
  • QuickBooks integration for billing and invoicing
  • Web, iOS, and Android platform access
  • Ongoing technical support and maintenance

What This Engagement Produced

  • Started as a scoped bug-fix engagement and became the company's operating platform, with DevExcel still supporting it in production.

    Delivered scope

  • Guard assignments and job orders are coordinated in the platform rather than across phone, spreadsheet and paper.

    Delivered scope

  • Delivered to production-ready and live, not to handover-and-hope.

    Delivered scope

“Delivered scope” describes what was built and shipped, taken from our own build record. It is not a measured client result, and we do not publish it as one. Where a client has documented and confirmed a figure, it appears above as a verified result with the number attached.
